The Chemical Energy Paper Printing Wood and Allied Workers Union (CEPPWAWU) announced that a national strike will take place on 30 June. Everyone is encouraged and warned to fill up their fuel tanks today. Petrol and diesel will be scarce from Thursday.

The union represents truck drivers who are employed by oil refinery companies in the country. It has also been confirmed that the strike initially took place on 27 June, but has been kept quiet to prevent overloading at petrol stations.
